I have RUN APP ON STARTUP checked, as well as SHOW APP ON STARTUP but Voicemeeter still needs me to click the icon to start it after restarting Windows. Does anyone know why? Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to me. When I assign VM-Viao3/4 to a Mixcraft audio track, it no longer picks up my mic. I have a USB mic assigned to Input 1 of voicemeeter.
