Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input

In above video switch to audio track 2 and you can see the throughput audio in the VAIO input and output, you'll notice audio is muffled, starting Voicemeeter causes the issue (VAIO as output, start audio engine) but the audio feedback volume is significantly lowered, fixing the feedback issue (spe...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input

Perhaps English is not your first language and you have misunderstood what's going on here You might be right on this. I read Where'd you get a realtek driver with ASIO support? which is a question for a location to get one. At least in my language. It is NOT a question about What product utilizing...

Re: No sound with ASIO device

Do you get sound when connecting any ASIO compatible software to use the M-Audio ASIO driver directly. It might well be that their ASIO implementation has a problem.

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input

Thanks for that. Sadly I won't be able to use it since it's a modded driver So what are you complaining about then? Go talk to your soundcard vendor to get you a suitable "official" driver. It's not that this piece of software is "strictly confidential". This IS an official driv...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input

Where'd you get a realtek driver with ASIO support? I've heard of it but never seen it. Official drivers don't have it.... It probably depends on what product you use that has a realtek chip on board. In the Video of the TS (the very first link in the very first post) you can see a "Realtek AS...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input

I've seen in your introduction video your driver selector lists the Realtek ASIO driver. It is a thorough recommendation to use an ASIO device for your A1 setting. I had very good results usig the Realtek ASIO instead of any other driver technology. If you do not have an external audio interface (as...

Missing Vocemeeter VAIO device (AUX and VAIO3 are OK)

I installed the Potato 3.0.1.3 and it seems that I lost "Voicemeeter VAIO" along the road. Only the secondary and tertiary ports are listed. I only see the "AUX VAIO" and "VAIO3" devices in Windows I/O ports to send my output to. I DO see all three devices under "A...

Re: Need to restart Voicemeeter after wake from sleep/suspend

I just want to commit, that this happened to me too. Not after STR but after "hybrid power saving". That is a normal Suspend to RAM, when windows silently makes a dump to disk, just for the case of a power failure during STR. That did happen and so the boot was from disk, but restored the ...

Re: Unexpected Overdub during live recording

i'm going to add some information about this in the banana user manual... Thanks for clarifying. This is certainly because VoiceMeeter was intended to solve a certain problem recording external and internal sound sources together. I'm coming from a quite different direction and thought the default ...

Re: Unexpected Overdub during live recording

Btw. What happened to my primary answer (the one where the quote in post 3 was taken) and why do I seem to answer to myself?
Do I suffer a split personality?
