Re: Random single crackle
audiodg.exe priority and/or core affinity, not affect on problem. This is a bad idea always, and is only intended to act as a workaround for a bug in discord specifically. Make sure you roll this one back. It 100% is bad for performance and stability. Anyway, a few things for you to check: You said...

Re: Voicemeter stops working with my Soundblaster X7 Audio
I haven't used this but I came across it recently, it might be what you're after: https://github.com/jprjr/asioconfig How does that sound card behave with other apps? This doesn't seem the kind of thing that's specific to voicemeeter. Especially after that nightmare firmware "update". Can ...

Re: Robotic Voice in Discord-Group-Chat - not in a single-call
Sorry, the only solution to this is to use a decent chat app. This is a long-standing discord bug. Have a look on their subreddit and you can find complaints going back YEARS. You'll notice that if you connect a recording application to the same input as discord, there's nothing wrong with the audio...

Re: Suggestion/question: Access windows device property panel from VM?
Would you mind explaining why? Generally, you'd set it appropriately (usually this means leave it at 100%) and adjust volume in voicemeeter. I can give you a better answer if I understand the use caseI often get to go through this sequence

Macro buttons size and position
This is a very minor issue, but it's been bugging me for ages. I should mention it here I guess :) I frequently find myself launching the macrobuttons app only to find that it is invisible. Sometimes, I can right-click the tray icon and select "Show macro buttons (default position) but often th...

Re: AUDIO which goes to discord is static
I'm sorry but this is a long-standing problem with discord. You will notice that if you attach an audio recording application to the same output from voicemeeter, the audio recorded is perfectly clear. The problem occurs internally to discord, and discord have known about this problem for years and ...

Re: Passing a quoted string in the System.Execute 'dir' argument.
Yes, the string needs to be in apostrophes (this is specific to zoom) and no, they are not there, so you're on the right track. The term you're after here is "escape character", but I don't think you actually need one since the characters aren't stripped, they're just missing. Did you try ...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana adding a constant hiss to my recordings which is absent when recording direct from the mic
Hi Sarg, I had a listen to your recording. What I'm hearing there is the normal background noise and sound card noisefloor, which is present in both recordings, then amplified (with the rest of the signal) for the second part. The hiss is actually there always. What I do wonder though,is where this ...

Re: How would I add a delay on a virtual output?
Gday Solomon, Forgive me if I'm mistaken but as I understand it you want to delay the audio from your mic to match delayed video from your webcam (so the sound matches the movement of your lips, right?).... I'd say rather than delaying all inputs via that output, you should be delaying the audio inp...
