Re: Error

The VB-CABLE cannot be installed directly from its ZIP package.
you must first extract all files in a temporary folder or whatever directory
(next version will be compiled in a single EXE to avoid this kind of problem).

Re: VB VAIO and VBVAUX CABLE control panels exhibit no output

Audio device does not work if audio points are not connected. Without having connecting an application to VB-Cable Audio Point, the I/O point can have no configuration setting. When running Control Panel / Sound dialog box, playback thumbnail connects input points while Recording thumbnail connects ...

Re: Foobar2000: DS vs WASAPI Event vs WASAPI Push

Audio buffering is pending on the player/recorder application and the method they use to manage audio devices. Normally using WASAPI allows having a fixed size buffering between the client application and the audio device... but using WASAPI Shared mode could change this rule i guess... With MME the...

Re: Voicemeeter Pro Preferred Main SampleRate

Setting every audio point in the same samplerate will surely increase audio quality since SRC won't be needed (SRC = sample rate converter). Anyway Voicemeeter (and VB-CABLE) are able to deal with different samplerate without any problem. The Voicemeeter Preferred Sample Rate is the one used to open...

Re: Digital-Analog Conversion of audio signal using VB-Cable?

Hello, VB-CABLE includes an SRC (Sample rate Converter) to manage different samplerate on its I/O it allows using the VB-Cable in any cases without having to configure something. if the VB-CABLE control panel shows that input samplerate is the same than internal samplerate and output samplerate, the...

Re: Order of installations

hello, first of all, VB-CABLE's, ASIO Bridge and Voicemeeter are totally independent and there is no order sequence to respect to install or de-install them. There is a VBCABLE_ControlPanel.exe for each Virtual Cable , the one located in VB/Voicemeeter directory is for the Voicemeeter Virtual I/O. t...

Re: Multi-channel digital output

In some cases, there is problem with DTS and WDM management..
but there is a workaround by selecting MME device (instead of WDM).
