Re: Hardware Out keeps disconnecting..
Don't be daunted by this long post, it's not hard to do, I'm just being verbose ;) Well I must confess that I'm a little hazy on the details since my PC is on 24/7 and sleeping is disabled, and I have a total of one USB audio device and it's input-only, so apologies for that. Others may be able to e...

Re: 5.1 never ending story
Hey that's great news! The GPU being a good sound card is kinda surprising, isn't it? They (at least I can speak for the nvidia ones, I haven't tried AMD) also make an EXCELLENT timing source for VM, for example you'll be able to get much smaller buffer sizes with the GPU as your A1 device, than mos...

You may like to try and disable the sleep/USB suspend/etc features on those devices. Not sure it will work, but I'm sure I'd try it and find out
As for why it would not work after boot, that's a tough one. A normal boot everything should work.

Re: 5.1 never ending story
TL;DR you're right, and there is nothing you can do to fix this. It's a sound card driver problem, not a Voicemeeter problem. You will notice it almost only in Voicemeeter, but also in properly configured recording studio type apps, because they behave differently to most apps as they are not just s...

Re: Soundproblems with Voicemeeter when I move my headset
Try to swap your A1 and A2 devices. VM uses the A1 device as its primary source of functionality, and it's quite possible that the USB audio device you are using for A1 is not entirely reliable.
Set A1 to be the realtek lautsprecher, and A2 the 5- USB lautsprecher. Let us know how you go.

Feature request: Focus macro buttons on second instance launch.
With most apps which allow only a single instance, if I launch the app again (eg double click the icon) while it is already running, it will bring the existing instance of the app to the foreground. It would be SUPER handy to have this with VB macro buttons. This way, I can put a shortcut in any of ...

Re: Dual PC setup issues with sound quality or latency
Short answers: If your headphones have two drivers, one on each side, then you should use stereo audio. Now is a good time to get that right. You won't need to fiddle with getting fake surround to work, that way. Positioning cues will be more defined, footsteps will be more audible, you will better ...
