Re: Microphone not working with Banana

I think since virtual devices are only either recording device or playback device at a given time, that you cannot monitor on the same VAIO port as you are recording, rather you would have to monitor the microphone on a different physical port or turn on "listen" in the WIndows dialog box....

Re: Can I feed streaming audio back into the Mic?

You should probably use Voicemeeter Potato and then have your Audio cable output tied to another input if you want to stream the output back to another input device. As a rule of thumb audio cable is from one source to one destination and Voicemeeter is for mixing and/or routing. Using them both you...

Re: Low desktop volume

Is it also a problem if not going through Banana? Also, maybe press select on A1 while adjusting your output volume slider. Maybe it got set to a lesser default. Funny thing about how the output sliders work. Also make sure your Windows volume is turned up full (outside of Banana) and then use Banan...

Re: Voicemeeter Aux Output is suddenly broken, please help

Why is B2 not slected for your Mic2? Is that the one you are using. What about your system settings? Also check your VB Cable setingss. THis can be done in the VBCale tool. I had trouble with one of my VBCables and found the buffer size default was set too low.. Sorry, checking furrher it looks like...

Re: Macro Button Question

Yes I use AHK with vmr remote script integration instead of the Voicmeeter mapping buttons. I also can merge MIDI ports using Bome MIDI Translator Pro. it requires a bit of time to set it up to work though and I haven't done fader feedback as of yet. I still use the Macro buttons too since I uses Bo...

Re: Routing via Virtual Cable creates echo

Maybe check the buffer size used on the cable and decrease it to lowest possible value until sound starts breaking up. My AUdio cable installed at 7168 smp. Maybe try 1024 and see if that helps. You can also try doubling the sample rate, keep it a multiple of the sample rate of other devices so if t...

Re: Installing Voicemeeter

Hi, Not knowing much about how the Creative Omni works and how it exposes its interface, it is hard to tell whether you will be able to separate the attached devices separately. 1) Make sure everything is connected and the Voicemeeter VAIO is set up as default recording device and playback device in...

Re: Monitor a different output bus (Potato)

OK, I think this will work: Create an output A5 and make it VB Cable B - This will be your monitoring output Also set up input A5 as Cable B - for input but NEVER send input A5 to output A5 (or you will create a feedback loop) Anything you want to monitor send it also to output A5. Then if your head...

Re: Pro Tools glitches

Yes, so Vincent pointed out there are some issues with the Focusrite ASIO driver. He posted a link to the discussion so as he is the expert, it is probably best to take his advise and use the WDM driver instead in Ovicemeeter but then leave Pro-Tools to interface with VAIO drivers.

Re: Monitor a different output bus (Potato)

Yes, I would like to do this as well. Actually monitor what is actually being sent out a given bus to ensure it is as expected. I tried Taking Cable B as output device (A5) on a given bus to route back to input on strip 5 and then monitoring on output 1 (which is my headset), while of course leaving...
