[SOLVED] Buttkicker, headset and 2 softwares

Post by oscardelta77 »

Hello,

I'm trying to configure VoiceMeeter since a fewdays ... No success.

So; I'm building a Cessna Cockpit.

My computer has two soundcards : One embedded (Realtek) and one USB (Soundblaster 3).
I also have a buttkicker and a headset.

My simulation software (P3Dv4.5) is configured to send engines sounds to the buttkicker, and voices to he headset. this is working.

i 'd like to have both engines and voices in headset, and engines only to buttkicker. In headset I'd like to add voices of another software ( FsFlyingschool pro) ...

I can't figure out how to do this.

All i got was : Engines to buttkicker ok, sim voices and engines to headseat, but other voices to buttkicker ... Or no engines att all in headset ?

I'm afraid it's not very clear ...

Regards,
olivier.

Okay, so :

I've uninstalled and reinstalled VoiceMeeter (With reboots ...)

Software Number One (P3D) :

Software Number Two (FSFS) :

VoiceMeeter :

With these parameters :

- Engines are sent to buttkicker via sound blaster -> OK
- Voices of PD3D and FSFS are sent to headset via Voicemeeter -> OK

- Engines are not sent to headset; i can't mix it ...

I still don't know if it's even possible ...

Regards,
Olivier.

You have to pass the engines sound also thru Voicemeeter to be able to mix it for your headset.

So, you need an additional virtual input for the engines in Voicemeeter and an additional hardware output.
Upgrade to Voicemeeter Banana!

For END USER, Voicemeeter Banana is free to use! You pay what you want when you want if you find it useful. Thanks for your participation!

It is not my work.
I am only a user of this software with a little more experience.
Vincent Burel is the man we have to thank!

Buying a licence is only necesseary for the Voicemeeter Potato version.
You can use and test Banana as long as you want.
If you then decide to use it regularly then you can make a donation.
But you can pay (donate) whatever and whenever you want.

So, really there is no need to de-install Banana.
Even if you decide to pause for some time.
Take your time to become familiar with Banana.

Banana setup includes the Voicemeeter standard version (you have used until now).
And Potato setup includes Banana version and the standard version, too.

You can try all versions in detail.
If you install Potato you find all Voicemeeter versions
inside the program folder.
To find out what version is the best for your needs.
There is no trial limitation!

Only Potato will add a few seconds start delay after a month (or two?) and later a few more.
But Banana will work like on day one of its installation forever.

Rob,

Thank you for your explanations.

I tried Bana and it does exactly what I need today.
These softwares are really amazing (a lots of hours to get such a result !) ... So, i've already made a donation. My way too say "Thank You !" (with a big smile) to Vincent !

Thank you again, Rob, for your advices and your help !

I really appreciate !

Have a great day !
