Twitch Streamer / Dual PC / RTX Voice

Post by gamerscircle »

I am going to do my best and lay out how my system is setup with the hope that perhaps someone will be able to tell me if I have setup the RTX Voice properly.

Before RTX Voice:

Oh, I used the following tutorial to help with the setup:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXcfUh2bbnQ

Gaming PC:
HW Input
1 - Yeti Microphone
2 - Cable-A Output (VB-Audio Cable A)

Virtual Inputs [Didn't change these from default]
Voicemeeter VAIO - Voicemeeter AUX - VAIO 3

HW Outputs
A1- Speakers [Turtle Beach USB Audio] - This is where my wireless headphones are plugged into
A2 - Elgato [NVidia High Definition Audio] - Goes to Capture card on the Steaming PC
A5 - Speakers [Speakers Realtek Definition Audio] - Desktop Speakers

Via VBAN
Incoming:
Alerts - In #3

Outgoing
BUS B2 Yeti to Streaming PC's IP
BUS A3 Discord to Streaming PC's IP

Discord App on the Gaming PC:
Input Device - VoiceMeeter Aux Output (VB-Audio Voicemeeter Aux VAIO) - Default Device
Output Device - Speakers (VB-Audio Cable A) {Which was actually CABLE-A Input (VB-Audio Cable A) before the last Win10 Update} - Default Device

Streaming PC:
HW Input
Nothing

Virtual Inputs [Didn't change these from default]
Voicemeeter VAIO - Voicemeeter AUX - VAIO 3

HW Outputs
A1- Speakers [Speakers Realtek Definition Audio] - Desktop Speakers

Yeti- from Gaming Pc's IP in #1

Following Nvidia' RTX Setup here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/gu ... tup-guide/

In the NVIDIA RTX Voice:
Input - I selected my Yeti Microphone
Output - I picked my Turtle Beach

After the install, NVIDIA RTX Voice did setup their RTX Microphone and Speakers as default(s), but I changed that back to VM devices [VoiceMeeter Aux Output (VB-Audio Voicemeeter Aux VAIO and Speakers (VB-Audio Cable A) ]

On the Gaming PC I only changed:
HW Input 1 from using the Yeti Mic to the Nvidia RTX Microphone

I know that is a lot to read and take in, I am very much an audio rookie and would appreciate it someone can tell me if what I did is correct or not? I think it is working as I can turn on the 'Remove Background noise from my microphone' option in the Nvidia RTX Voice, talk into the mic , clap my hands and play back a recording and barely head the clapping.

suggestions?
