Process priority question
Process priority question
Are there any benefits from increasing voicemeeter's process priority to above normal, high or even to real time? My PC and audio interface can handle 64 buffer size but I'm not sure if increasing process priority (voicemeeter's and vst host's processes) helps or actually can hurt in some scenarios.

Re: Process priority question
normally no.
most of possible problem related to audio stream stability are not coming from CPU load or thread priority.
it comes from the system itself (and possibly the driver stack in some cases) unable to warrant any reliability in audio real time streaming.
