Low desktop volume

Good evening everyone,

I'm currently using Voicemeeter Banana. It is set as my default device for outgoing audio.

In Windows my volume is set to 100% and when I'm listening to the desktop audio thru Voicemeeter, the sound is really low. I have to set the volume bar to the max (+12) for both the desktop and A1 (Speakers) to have louder audio.

Any ideas what I need to verify in Voicemeeter or Windows to boost the audio without making out the sliders ?

Let me know if you need more info.

Is it also a problem if not going through Banana?
Also, maybe press select on A1 while adjusting your output volume slider. Maybe it got set to a lesser default. Funny thing about how the output sliders work.
Also make sure your Windows volume is turned up full (outside of Banana) and then use Banana to lower it if it is too loud after that.
If you have media keys for volume up and volume down, use those to turn it all the way up there.

simply check volume of all used device.
at least the Voicemeeter virtual input device and the volume of the output device used by Voicemeeter output A1...

Ok found it.

Everything was at 100 % in the computer's sound panel : Windows' master volume and both Voicemeeter's VAIO and AUX.

What I didn't check was the speaker volume in the same properties panel, it was greyed out so I didn't check it and was not appearing at a low level in the computer's mixer.

It was at the level I was using before Voicemeeter. That volume was not changing when I was using Windows' shortcut keys.

Now its plenty loud :D
