Wait command doesn't seem to work

Post by bidomo »

I'm working on building my own midi interface, trying some code using my MMO mouse to test the code, as I'm still waiting for parts for my midi device.

I'm using a button to mute A1, another to mute A2, and wrote some simple code:

Code: Select all

bus[1].mute = 1;
I have voicemeeter minimized, and have a push button programmed to show it, but wanted to show the GUI for some miliseconds when trying to change a value, so I modified the button code to this:

Code: Select all

// Button ON
command.show = 1;
bus[1].mute = 1;
wait(1000);
command.show = 0;

//Button OFF
command.show = 1;
bus[1].mute = 0;
wait(1000);
command.show = 0;

and the button does nothing, it just reacts to the push of the button but does nothing, not a single command gets executed...

Removing the wait command mutes/unmutes A2 effectively,

.::EDIT::.

Ok, so as I posted this, something crossed my mind...

what if I use the wait command after every other command? => does not work...
What about Capital W, Wait instead of wait.... => totally works?

I noticed some other commands, (specially recorder commands) are case sensitive, but other commands work capitalized or not.

Why is this the case for some commands and not others?
