setup voicemeeter banana with guitar effects app & mic into zoom

Post by harrisxr650 »

Hi everyone, new user-member here

Im trying to have pc audio along with guitar effects app + a mic into voicemeeter and to zoom for online lessons,
and im having a realy hard time.

while i can hear the wet guitar sound in my headset or speakers along with my voice, the other participant can hear only the dry signal.
My hardware and software consist of behringer umc22, a condenser mic into the audio interface, Neural dsp stand alone guitar effects simulator, attached some pics. of my settings( vmb, system, neural dsp and zoom.

Apparently you use ASIO device correctly with input patch
but 128 sample buffer can be too small in some cases (think to increase on 256 in case of audio stream stability problem).

To connect Voicemeeter Banana to Zoom, we recommend to watch our video tutorial: https://youtu.be/nIpt3jF0Nds

about FX on guitar, or it must be performed before going into Voicemeeter.
or it must be performed inside Voicemeeter, by using VST Host app, connected to Virtual ASIO Inser driver: https://youtu.be/pDi0Tn2QxXE

Thanks a lot Vincent, that did the trick.

just a note, the tutorial you provided with MiniHost Modular VST Host its not valid since the program has been discontinued and its not available for downloading anymore.

Instead i used Cantabile lite (freeware) which is very easy to set up.
and a tutorial link

Again thanks a lot
