Need help muting own voice using two headphones

Post by StrangelyRandom »

Hello all,

we're having some trouble muting our own voices through our own headphones.
When unchecking bus A for both headphones, our own voices should get muted in our own headphones, but not in the other person's headphone.

However, upon unchecking bus A (for both headphones) both microphones get muted and we can't hear anything, not our own voices, nor the other person.
When unchecking only one bus A, it does work for that headphone (that person doesn't hear his own voice, but can still hear the other one), but not for the other one. He still hears his own voice (and the other person).

Are we missing something? Are there any settings we've missed, for instance in the playback/recording devices steeing in Windows?

thanks in advance!

Well, i guess you are using Voicemeeter 1.0.x.x and there is no separate control for output A1 and A2 (both are driven by the same BUS A)
you should use Voicemeeter Banana instead...
..otherwise let me know more about your configuration (with screenshot if possible)
