Ability to drag and reposition the macro buttons

Post by I3ordo »

I wish we could drag and drop buttons
relocate them to new positions to make things more tidy on this panel

Great to see this has been noted. In the meantime OP, here's how you can drag and drop them....sort of.

Export the macro settings to an XML file (Alt+Space ... Save button map). Keep this as a backup, and make a copy to work with.

Open the XML file in a text editor. Drag'n'drop the code for each button.

Save the file when you're done.

Load the settings from the new XML file into macrobuttons app (Alt+space ... Load button map)

It's cumbersome, but not as cumbersome as manually recreating the buttons in the position you want them ;)

I'd also like the ability to control their size. I have a lot of them and they take up my full screen and most of the buttons are whitespace with very little text.

Thanks for listening!
