I'm looking for a way to combine the microphone audio and computer audio into a 2 channel max virtual output device that could be streamed through Zoom or similar. Is this possible using just VB-Cable?

the VB-CABLE is just a virtual cable to connect 2x applications together.
if you want to do more (mising / routing), you may try Voicemeeter.

dymaxxion,
Try out Voicemeeter Banana or Voicemeeter Potato. You can't do this through Virtual Audio Cable alone. You can send both your Mic and your computer audio to Banana and then send them mixed together to an output and then to Zoom.

To set it up:
1.) Install Banana. Set HW1 input as your Mic.
2.) Go into your sound settings and set the default playback device for your computer to the virtual input in Banana (VAIO).
3.) Create an output mix in Banana, say virtual output B1.
4.) Select "VAIO" as your mic input in Zoom.

You'll also want to set up your speakers / headphones as a hardware output in Banana so you can hear the sounds yourself.
