So for some reason when I installed VB-Cable I didnt get some of the drivers installed. So when I reopened the .exe to uninstall it and then reinstall it. But when I pressed the "Remove Driver" button I get this error: https://gyazo.com/63cd7c70816f2ce1568b24dc831927a3 .

I believe this is due to not running as administrator. I got the same thing doing some initial testing. Also, when I used the "-u" command-line switch to uninstall, and in that case that blank dialog pops up automatically (you can see in my screenshot that "Remove Driver" isn't inverted, so it hasn't been manually clicked).

Also, to add to the original bug report, if you click Ok, the setup program ends without uninstalling anything. If it matters, in my case I'm running the x64 installer and don't have anywhere to test the x86 installer.

If you try to install without admin rights, it does show a legible error:

There is another bug -- when I click OK from the admin error message, it tries to navigate a browser to https://end.pagesperso-orange.fr/ which (in Firefox at least) returns an SSL error (SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG). But given your other pages (the store etc) I'm guessing this is an old invalid address.

I'm working on installing VB-Cable as part of another product (which is 100% free, and will prompt the users to register VB-Cable), and my installer also has to install about six other products, so I need to uninstall everything frequently for testing purposes. Under Windows 11 (and probably Windows 10), under Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps, I do see "VBCABLE, The Virtual Audio Cable" but the install date shown is from June 2023 when I originally installed this. Same thing under Control Panel -> Programs and Features.

When I run "Uninstall/Change" from Programs and Features, I get a UAC prompt, then the same "Remove Driver" pop-up with a success message.

Another apparent bug is that sometimes VBC is removed from the Programs and Features uninstall list, and other times it is not (which is why it shows the June 2023 date, even though I have uninstalled and re-installed 10+ times over the past several days). However, that might be a Windows issue, I think the uninstall entry is orphaned when I uninstall via Device Manager. (I was doing that because of the "remove driver" option, because my first attempt to detect an existing VB-Cable install looked for the original .inf file -- which the "normal" VB-Cable uninstall does not remove.)

One more uninstall-related problem that might be worth addressing -- if the user clicks "Don't Install" when the OS prompts them for confirmation, the installer shows "Unknown Error":

we are going to update the VB-CABLE before end of year (to provide a new Win10/11 x64 version).
