VBCable Input not going to output when listening to Mic

Post by Mikestriken »

After installing an update a long long time ago for windows my soundboard stopped working because VB cable stopped working
How is it not working?
1- I have set VBcable input to listen to my Microphone in the microphone properties in the Sound Control Panel
2- VBcable input detects sound from my microphone
3- VBcable output does not receive the input from the microphone

After testing a bit I have noticed that this only occurs for when listening to my microphone if I set audio to be played through input it will still go to the VBcable output

Hello everyone this is my very first Post after reading most of the instruction on setting up VBcable I have set my cable as explained in the help guide step by step the free version but suddenly a few weeks later no sound through my Free VB-Cable, I decided to do a clean install removing anything that might be in my registry a fresh install but decided to donate and go with VB Cable A /B I try to setup as the free version settings but no sound coming out of either Cables A/B can someone explain to me how to fix this?? could this be a cause from a MS update below are my system specs I have two AV installed I have disable both of them and re-enable them but still no sound coming out from them accept my regular windows driver --->

just want to add that the Listen option is made by Windows and we do not recomment to use it (because can disturb the Voicemeeter workflow for example).

VB-CABLE is basically just a cable to connect 2 applications together (a player to a recorder). If you need more routing / mixing option you may consider using Voicemeeter.
