AUX output not working

I been working at this for a while

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Banana and Potato

And I have done both a few times - but I cant get any sound playing through the AUX channel

Rather then trying upload all the screen shots - here is a link with ALL the screen shots from todays attempt with banana

But regardless how ever I install it - its just AUX that doesnt work - when I installed Potato - the third input works with out an issue
When I install VBCable that works - it is just the Aux that isnt working

Voicemeeter Virtual AUX output is fed by the output BUS B2
if you send nothing in B2 (see assignation button on each strip) you will get no audio in AUX output.

Usually when this happens, it's been magically muted by something. Check out the 'Levels' tab in the control panel properties for the device, or eartrumpet is a nice pretty way to do it. I literally keep that app handy to check exactly this. It's a pretty common little glitch and a handy tool for the job. Avoid sndvol, or the windows volume app, they will alter your default devices when you check.

Once you're either in the control panel or eartrumpet, you can also confirm that audio is being sent from the browser to the device. In the control panel it's the green meter on the right side of the device list, in eartrumpet it's where the slider is.

If it's not muted, and if sound is coming from the app and you can see it in the meters mentioned above, run VBdevicecheck.exe and see what it reports.

Last up, if you exit voicemeeter, and play the audio in the same way, now the audio sent to that output device (VB AUX input), will come out of the corresponding input device (VB AUX output) and you can now use the 'Listen' tab in windows, select your physical audio output (AMD GPU/XG2705 monitor in your case). So, you go: app -> aux in -> aux out -> listen to this device -> XG2705

The intention of this is to figure out where the audio stops. After we know more about what's happening, it will be easier to stop that from happening... But I'm guessing it's muted

That's super odd. Normally I would be pointing to the uninstall/reinstall procedure (with all the reboots and such) but honestly you strike me as having tried all the basics already.

Hi. You could explore the settings of the VoiceMeeter AUX VAIO using the Virtual AUX IO Control Panel. Check both Latency and Max Latency; default latency value is 7168 samples. Using Windows Sound Control Panel - Playback tab - Select VoiceMeeter Aux Input - Right click and select Test from the menu. It should send some tones to the VoiceMeeter AUX and you should see the levels on the Input meeters of the Virtual AUX IO Control Panel.

You can find the Virtual AUX IO Control Panel using the Windows Search box and typing "AUX IO".
