Using EQ on mic channel only

Post by WilliamCampbell »

Hello Vincent, and other enthusiasts!

I usually bring my voice down an octave when editing in Audacity, but it would be great if I could do the equivalent in Voicemeeter Potato live, and maybe even improve the sound more. Obviously, I only want to do this in my mic channel, not to other audio sources that I'm mixing in.

I see the settings on the Intellipan panel on the microphone channel, and the EQ button, but I can't work out how to use the EQ function in particular, and another problem is I have a tin ear so I don't really know what exact values to use, so I have questions...
  • What's the setup to EQ modify only my mic channel?
  • Can anyone suggest good EQ settings to use, or at least be a starting point for me to begin with?
  • Are these settings saved when I do Menu / Save settings?
  • If so, could anyone be nice enough to send me an XML settings file to import that does something like this?

Many thanks
