Issue with ES-9

Post by Rvd »

Hello,

I am trying to use Matrix to get my two audio interfaces to work together. My main one is a Scarlett 18i20, the other is an Expert Sleepers ES-9 (specialised for Eurorack modular synths). My 18i20 and its optical expanders work perfectly with Matrix, but for my ES-9, only the first 8 of the 14 inputs appear, and only the main stereo output is there, without the other 8 outputs (which are more important because they are DC-coupled and at Eurorack format). By the way, the ES-9 doesn't appear in the Asio Devices section even though I installed it's Asio driver.

Does anyone know why I can't get the full ES-9 ins and outs? Since it's the only use I currently have with Matrix, maybe there are other VB Audio softwares that I can try to achieve that?

I have also asked on the Expert Sleepers forum, but no one answered yet.

Thanks!

1- Matrix will manage Windows Device with 8 channel Max
2- WIN.IN1: Check the Line (ES-9) is not used by another application or select it by MME interface (instead of WDM).
3- Typically ES-9 should be managed by an ASIO driver.
4- Try to run VB-Matrix 32bit (instead of 64 bits) to check if the ASIO driver appears (in an ASIO Slot only)...

Hello,

The ES-9 eventually appeared in the ASIO section and everything now works. I think it was because the ES-9 was indeed used by another application, as I hadn't launched its Configurator software this time.

Thanks!
