Using multiple instances of the same ASIO Driver

Post by btech »

My main interface is a Behringer UMC1820 (48kHz) and I have been using the paid version of Voicemeeter Potato for a while now and loving it! I’m keen on picking up Matrix too. One of the main reasons is this…

I own a Yamaha MODX6 digital synthesizer (44.1kHz) and a Yamaha MX49 digital synthesizer (44.1kHz). Both these keyboards offer a digital output via USB, but they both make use of the same Yamaha Steinburg USB driver.

Is it possible to run two instances of the driver wherein one is set to use the MODX and the other is set to use the MX?

If so, is it possible to resample the two devices to 48kHz to match the clock of the UMC1820?

If not, is there a workaround for low-latency performance of both keyboards alongside the interface? I’d like to free up the audio input ports for other instruments and mics.
