Mixing two sources into a Zoom meeting

Post by JonFleming »

I want to feed some pre-recorded messages and what I say into a Zoom meeting. It seems to me this should be possible., I have:
  • Windows 11 22H2
  • Voicemeeter Standard 1.1.1.3 x64
  • Virtual cable and Virtual cable A and B.
  • VLC player 3.0.21 x64
  • Speakers (of course)
  • Headphones with boom microphone
  • Webcam with microphone
  • External microphone on my desk
  • An AutoIT program I wrote to play an audio item selected from a list, output to any system device no matter what the default is.
The AutoIT program is set to output to CABLE Input. In Voicemeeter, I have Input 1 set to the headphones microphone, A off and B on. Input 2 is CABLE Output with both A and B on.
If I set Voicemeeter output A1 to headphones and A2 to CABLE-A Input, Voicemeter and my ears indicate the mixing is happening.
But I can't figure out how to feed that into a Zoom meeting.
