On the other hand, I have a problem, I can no longer regenerate a license. I succeeded one last time with the activation, however when I reinstall it on my reinstalled Windows I will no longer have anything. And I haven't managed to redo any code for the VAIO extension. THANKS

Thank you for my request. On the other hand, there are a lot of problems with this update. You already have to have all the drivers up to date otherwise it's a misery. For example, my network card was switched to a public profile and it was impossible to switch back to private. Obviously this is not yet the definitive version of 24H2.

On the Microsoft website it says:
September 30, 2024—KB5043178 (OS Build 26100.1882) Preview

On the other hand, I have a big problem with the sound. When I listen to the music (live) and I use Voicemeeter on another software, I have sound cuts above. And if I let VoiceMeeter load into memory as usual without using it, I no longer have optical audio output. As soon as I close Voicemeeter, I find direct sound without doing anything. I didn't have this problem before. I don't use Voicemeeter for main mixing, but just for certain software!
And as soon as I restart Voicemeeter, it cuts me sound.

Okay so I found the problem I think. Voicemeeter settings ended up being WDM instead of MME! And I have a similar problem on VLC too!

On the other hand, I tried to reinstall Windows 24H2, from an empty disk, and no problem. So the problem comes from the updates!

yes, the issue is not easy to reproduce, but we finally discovered a potential issue that shows up with a higher probability on Windows 24H2, so we will make an update to Voicemeeter as soon as possible.

ok so do you recommend to wait the last future update of voicemeeter before going to 24H2 ?

Cheers

yes, it's the better option.
Voicemeeter update should come in the next week.
