Periodic Underrun with VBAN Receptor

Post by Cappy »

Hi,

I've been getting periodic Underrun notices and the audio cutting out when using the audio on my PC. It was fairly consistent before with only very brief audio drops (less than a second to the point that I wouldn't lose the sense of the audio). Now I'm getting up to 2 seconds of no audio with like a 5-10 second gap between them.

It seems like it might be exacerbated by the programs I'm running as well (streaming games mostly).

Is there a way to reduce this?

on the receptor, you may try to set the buffering to 512 instead of 256 to see if it improves the stability.

audio network stability is also very dependent on the WIFI distance (between WIFI AP and your mobile device).

I will try. I'm in the same room as the router so it should be pretty good. I was wondering if the router itself might be having issues.

The 512 buffer did fix it, thanks so much! :D
