No sound at all with Focurite ASIO

Hi all,
I'm aware of well-known sound cracking issues with Focusrite ASIO.
My problem is different though. When selecting ASIO Focusrite in A1, I have no sound at all.
What can be the reason for this?
Everything else works perfectly.

Context
I configured VM as the ASIO driver in my DAW (Cubase Pro 12 on Windows 10) and if I select my PC internal sound card as my A1 output, everything is OK (I assume the ASIO VM works like ASIO4All in that case).
But as soon as I select ASIO Focusrite in A1, I have no sound at all.

Forget it. I have reinstalled everything and it now works, quite well.
