Voicemeeter with Cubase

Post by Bibz1st »

Hi, first post so go easy on me :D
Using Cubase without external audio interface so does Voicemeeter replace ASIO4ALL ?
Also, would this post
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1219&sid=f87d77262b ... ee6ad3240f
be also relevant to Cubase?
obviously would be slightly different setup within Cubase,
Not using it for anything other than trying to get 2 USB mics into Cubase onto 2 separate tracks
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Well, I am answering my own question. Yes it did work, almost.
Long story short,
Setting B1 to composite just wouldnt work but using B2 was the light bulb moment, its all hunky dory now.
My other question about ASIO4ALL......yes voicemeeter replaced it, no more stutter fest with 2 USB mics
Thank you.

you can also consider using the Virtual ASIO INSERT driver of Voicemeeter Banana or Potato with Cubase to manage all PRE-FADER input like explained in this video (replace the MT32 by Cubase): https://youtu.be/XSkm_XeA_j0
