Can audio recordings be made in real time from different Chrome tabs?

Post by Jamster »

Essentially, my goal is to capture audio simultaneously from multiple chrome tabs and allocate them to their respective channels to be recorded separately.

Let's say a couple of long scientific discussions happening in different tabs, while simultaneously listening to a third. Afterward, I hope to end up with three separate audio files, each containing the recordings from their respective tab.

Is it possible to accomplish this task using the software available on this platform?

Perhaps third time is the charm...

Thank you

The prerequisite to capture several chrome tabs playing sound is to be able to assign chrome tabs to different playback audio device...
As far as i know, this could be achieve with a chrome plug-in called Audiopick (to be checked/validated).

then you could do what you want with your different stream, possibly coming in different Voicemeeter virtual inputs...
