I found out that using the Restart audio engine won't stop and restart the ASIO device.
I'm using ASIO4ALL. And when I click the Restart audio engine, ASIO4ALL doesn't restart. The red R mark still show inside the [Menu] button.
Changing the output device to another WDM device and change back to ASIO doesn't work either.
The only way to restart is shutdown Voicemeeter completely then start again.
Why I need to reset the ASIO4ALL device is because I'm using ASIO4ALL with HDMI audio.This give me very low latency audio.
But the downside is whenever windows turn off the display for powersaving or standby/hibernate, the HDMI audio also got turn off.
And it won't get any audio when wakeup because NVIDIA GPU recreating all the HDMI audio device. I need to restart ASIO4ALL to refresh the device list.
If voicemeeter can resetting the asio device in the future version, it will fix this kind of issues.
