Hi all,
have you used Potato since a while without any problems. But then last week sound began to stutter. First thought it be an internet problem, but it wasn't. Playing a local MP3 file I got the same problem.
But without Potato I did not have the proble. So I thought I reinstall and update at the same time and ...
I took a snapshot and attached it. (PotatoSalad.jpg)
Below HARWARE OUT one can see in red Speakers it changes every 1-2 seconds to grey and then red again
Resetting and a system restart did not help. I also tried to set A1 to something elase and the nback to speakres ... nada, zero, nix !
Any ideas/suggestions ?
Kind Regards
Joe

what is your voicemeeter version?
could you disable the "auto restart option" in menu ?
could you post a screenshot of Voicemeeter system settings dialog box?

Hi there,
Its Version 3.1.1.3 (64 bit)

I have switched off the Auto Restarts as you advised. So the message does not appear again and again without stopping. Thanks
I wanted to add also my config.xml file ... but your website does not allow out it.
Thus I have turned it into a TXT file. Is this upload ok?

Kind regards, Joe

in fact it means your selected device for output A1, did not start, you may deselect it to actually run on internal clock.

as explain in this topic; your may select a full functional hardware device as output A1, because it defines the main stream.
otherwise select nothing to keep the internal clock: viewtopic.php?t=451

Thanks for your reply.

Since I had the problems, I have been able to listen to music without Potato without any problems. So sound card and speakers are ok.

Following your explanation, I have now uninstalled the sound card driver and tried it without the original driver and ... now it works again.
But(!) when setting up the playback devices I got the message that another software, that also runs on the playback device, might not work. I adjusted it anyway and now everything is running again - without interruption.
I now have the (KS) Speakers on A1 again, the (KS) SPDIF Out on A2 and a red SpdifOut below. It written like this, not in capital letters and without a space between Spdif and Out (where from?)
I was able to overwrite it with the (KS) Jabra headset.

Kind Regards,
Joe

I'm not sure you understood what i was saying.

your device selected as output A1 does not work (according your screenshot).
So or you select another one, or you select nothing to use the internal clock as main device.
