BSOD when I don't exit VM manually

I get BSOD showing "bugcode usb driver" when I don't exit VoiceMeeter manually before I shutdown/reboot. I think it has something to do with that VM is occupying my USB headset and can't be shut down properly by windows. Any solutions? Exiting VM manually is quite a hassle...

which version of Voicemeeter do you use ? (writen in the splash screen or system settings dialog box)
when getting BSOD, what component is implied ? it is usually written somewhere in the BSOD, and it is often a .sys file...

Voicemeeter is 1.0.3.6 (latest version)
no .sys file is implied on BSOD, I've attached the screenshot for you to check.
My guess is that it is related to my USB headset (since that's the only audio device that's connected with USB)

ok, you have BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER STOP: 0X000000FE
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... s.85).aspx
you can also provide the dmp file (in c:\Windows\Mindump) to get more detailed information on the crash.

But it seems to be a weelknown bug (many references on google) in the Windows universal serial bus (USB) driver or in one of your USB device driver.
This can be surely corrected by Windows Update or maybe by Motherboard (chipset) Driver Update.

I have the latest chipset driver for my motherboard and I ran windows update and installed all possible updates, but the problem is still there.
Here is the last dmp file if you can look at it? Thank you very much!

if i understand well your minidump, problem occured in USBPORT.SYS

http://www.solvusoft.com/en/files/bsod- ... bport-sys/

personnally i think you have a bad USB driver somewhere...

all the USB drivers seems to be up to date. Oh well.. I'll just manually exit VB before shut down then.

Thanks for all the help and the awesome software though!
