Thank you first of all.
i was trying to configure the 7.1 audio for the game i am playing.
I wanna 7.1 using my headphones so its not really a 7.1, its more like a surround sound type of experience.
So basically i tried this , its a simple step by step screenshots.

I know that strips 1 through 3 are only in Stereo, but maybe it will downmix all the incoming channels to stereo or something like that?

So when i launched my game , then a control panel for Virtual Cable (C:\Program Files\VB\CABLE , i couldnt find it at first, its NOT in here C:\Program Files (x86)\VB\Voicemeeter ) it showed me that Virtual Cable input is receiving 8 channels and i could see the meters bouncing (except Center and LF, i think thats the game engine programmed that way). So the question is , is it really working or its a placebo effect.

I was switching the output of the game ,to Default and back to Cable Input, to fill the difference, and i think there is something happening with the sound but i am not sure.

Also , a little side question, i was searching for Control Panel executable for Virtual Cable and didnt find it in C:\Program Files (x86)\VB\Voicemeeter , so i thought maybe i just unzip the downloaded archive VBCABLE_Driver_Pack43 and execute a control panel from there.
