Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
Hi guys, OP here. So let me tell you a story of why an OS reinstall is NEVER the solution. I decided to bite the bullet and reinstall Windows 10, downloaded direct from Microsoft's website, setup a flash drive and got to work. Now I install my OS on an NVME so the install itself takes barely a minut...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
The 'tape test' is still outstanding Already did all the tests you have mentioned on page 3 of the thread. Anyway, this is not a bug just any VM user is gonna help "fix" so to speak. I created this thread to bring it to the dev team's attention ONLY and hopefully have it fixed by them. I ...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
The audio is not coming from the cable, it's coming from your mic input. Everything sent to the speakers output is redirected there (with some distortion). Everything you have shown so far, demonstrates that your device is doing the distortion and redirection of the audio. No. Like I have demonstra...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
The device used as hardware input #1, seems to capture audio on air in fact ? no ? with 10 to 20 dB less level than the VAIO input, it's sounds like this... No it is not audio through air. Issue happens even if mic is not connected to the PC. Mic input becomes active when I recreate steps for the i...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
Thank you for getting back to me Vincent. sounds like you have several problems (muffled sound usually means a bad default audio format in windows recording device advanced tab). Download this video and switch to audio track 2 which has the mic recording. The mic recording is not muffled, the feedba...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
In above video switch to audio track 2 and you can see the throughput audio in the VAIO input and output, you'll notice audio is muffled, starting Voicemeeter causes the issue (VAIO as output, start audio engine) but the audio feedback volume is significantly lowered, fixing the feedback issue (spe...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
I've seen in your introduction video your driver selector lists the Realtek ASIO driver. It is a thorough recommendation to use an ASIO device for your A1 setting. It seemed to have been a bug with well I really don't know what exactly. Picking ASIO never gave any output to my speakers/headsets and...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
Unfortunately, Realtek Audio Console doesn´t allow me to configure two independent streams; one for the headphones (front panel jack - A2 output) and one for the speakers (rear panel jack - A1 output) so I can't try to reproduce your problem in my PC. Go to Realtek Audio Control from Start Menu > D...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
@RobBoss You made a lot of points so I will go over them 1 by 1. It is not a problem caused by Voicemeeter (and its drivers). What I meant to say was that if Voicemeeter is started and the issue created, then the issue can be seen in OBS/Discord/Audacity etc etc. If Voicemeeter is shutdown/never st...
