Re: Pioneer DJM900/Rekordbox vs. pc-Win10/VB-Audio

Hi. It should be possible to simplify the setup described in the article: Voicemeeter Banana virtual inputs (Voicemeeter VAIO and Voicemeeter AUX) support ASIO to interface directly with rekordbox. The ASIO interface supports up to 8 audio channels for each input. Select Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO as ...

Re: Turntable input problem with WDM or MME

Hi. Voicemeeter Banana includes a gate effect which you can control with a knob in the input strip AUDIBILITY section. I am not sure but I understand that using a gate could "silence" your output if the input (Turntable) is below certain level. In the last image you posted it appears that ...

Re: Turntable input problem with WDM or MME

Hi. According to the Voicemeeter Banana User Manual , when Buffering ASIO is set to Default the buffer size is given by the ASIO driver. You should be able to set it up using the ASIO Control Panel of your device. For more details, see section ASIO Driver support of the manual (page 52). I have seen...

Re: Select apps for a specific output device

Hi. The User Manual describes how the application list in Voicemeeter Potato (and the volume and mute controls) are related to the Windows Volume Mixer. See the Applications shown on Virtual Input Strip section at page 18. You can open Volume Mixer by right-clicking the Speakers icon in the notifica...

Re: No sound with ASIO device

Hi. VB-Audio Software official YouTube channel has a video about how to setup Voicemeeter with an ASIO device: https://youtu.be/35N8hkOy8h4 It uses a Tascam interface but contains a lot of information that could be useful in your case. There is a topic in this forum where other users of M-Audio inte...

Re: Voicemeeter breaking mic after unistallment.

Hi. You can download Voicemeeter standard from VB-Audio web site: https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/index.htm. There are different tabs at the top of the page for Banana and Potato which are more advanced versions with an increasing number of inputs and outputs. Stay in the Voicemeeter tab. Scrol...

Re: Voicemeeter breaking mic after unistallment.

Hi. You could try first Voicemeeter standard (included with Voicemeeter Banana) and then move to Banana when you feel comfortable. Voicemeeter standard documentation is an excellent place to start. There are also YouTube tutorials that can be useful. Installing Voicemeeter simply adds a virtual audi...

Testing Composite Mode routing - Voicemeeter Standard

According to Voicemeeter Standard User Manual , when Composite routing mode is selected in the output bus, the first 2 channels of Virtual Input should be routed to channels 7 and 8 of the output device (pre-fader). To test it, I have configured the speakers in my Realtek HD Audio in 7.1 Surround (8...

Re: Voicemeeter doesn't send 6 channels to virrtual cable?

Hi Mauricio. So my conclusion is that either Voicemeeter outputs audio in 6 channels when the hardware is Realtek but 2 channels when the hardware is the cable; OR voicemeeter is always outputting 6 channels but the virtual cable for some reason is cutting to 2 channels when receiving. The second op...
