Re: Equalizer help
So if I'm interpreting the graph correctly, it's a 12db/oct filter (for either lpf or hpf) ?

Re: Voicemeeter Banana idle cpu usage ryzen
That 99% min is an amd ryzen thing. I can't recall the exact reason but it's that way for a reason.
Re utility.. Tested that in a VM, never in the main OS. Did things the hard way there.

Re: Voicemeeter Banana idle cpu usage ryzen
It's 2-3 cores still, but the vcore is lower, ~1.2xx V vs 1.3xx when on ryzen balanced. The UPS power consumption is not 100% accurate - power is presented in 10 watt intervals. One of these days I'll hook up a kill-a-watt meter to see how close the readings are. But, for the purpose here I already ...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana idle cpu usage ryzen
With 64 different options to tweak, one can truly lose their mind messing with this!@# So, a more systematic approach was needed. Re: Voicemeeter Banana idle cpu usage ryzen
^^Thanks for the link to that script. That sure opens up pandora's box on cpu governor settings. Which specific parameters should I be looking for for the idle parked state thresholds (if you know)? Yes on the backup.. Full system imaged before the latest updates were installed, VMB, etc. It'll take...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana idle cpu usage ryzen
Tried the following in order. 1) Updated to 1usmus power plan (universal since windows 1909 installed). No change 2) Updated amd chipset drivers, also no change I think you're right about the idle non sleep state. With everything minimized, VMB loaded, I see 3 cores active in ryzen master ~300-500 m...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana idle cpu usage ryzen
^^Setting the minimum processor state to 1% makes no difference.
I suppose one option is to shut it down entirely when the screen saver/monitor off kicks in. It's drastic measure. I was hoping there were other options. I understand the concept of silent audio.
