Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
There is not a manual, but assuming you're looking at the one from Volcanomobile SNC, I can configure a button as 4 different midi commands, Notes, CC, PGM, and CST. I'm using CC and it can further be configured in one of two ways. The "Default" way in which pressing it will send a value o...

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
That was a very comprehensive response, thank you! Hopefully in the future we see options for zero values being processed and some of the advanced features you were mentioning incorporated. I am glad that in the immediate sense I was able to work out that setting VoiceMeeter mute strip to be PTT get...

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
My experience with hardware is that the switches are almost always momentary in hardware, and send a value reflecting their physical state (ie 7f when pressed, 0 at release) Interesting, so did the hardware you use provide any button to mute a channel beyond holding down the mute button for however...

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
Hmmm.... I think zero should still be processed though. If I'm doing a momentary button then it sending zero (that is it is no longer being pressed) is an event I would want processed, especially for something like PTT or Solo. If I'm using a remote device (such as my android app, or a physical MIDI...

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
I'm trying to be as precise as possible and fear we may be using the same words to refer to 2 different things as I have explained the exact order of events with their exact behavior a couple of times, but I will endeavor to be more precise. I have an android app called Midi Mixer that I have connec...

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
I installed the new version, but am seeing the same behavior, I also was unable to see any feedback when selecting my midi device an an output device. I installed a midi monitoring program and these are the values I received when toggling my button on and off https://images2.imgbox.com/89/1f/O03DwtE...

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
I made sure and I have no Macros enabled. When I have the midi mapping dialog pulled up I can see the little box by Midi input device flashing green whenever I toggle my button off, but there is no change reported. Is there a log file I could create or a midi snooper that might shed some light as to...

Re: Set Channels for Output?
This got me on the right track. I checked an all my devices were set to stereo, but voicemeeter still showed 8 channels. Once I changed the hardware output from MME to WDM it correctly displayed 2 channels.

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?
This is for ALL toggle buttons. If I click on any mute button in voicemeteer it toggles back and forth between muted and unmuted as expected. If I go to the midi mapping screen and configure a toggle button on my midi device to control the mute for strip one: https://images2.imgbox.com/36/08/pKpG26d...

Set Channels for Output?
When I go to system settings I noticed that for my 3 outputs it says they are configured as 8 channel outputs. I just use a pair of headphones so all I need it 2 channels. 1) Do I free up any computer resources by having this set to 2 channel output and 2) how to I actually configured how many chann...
