I think you would need Banana. There are a number of good videos on Youtube that address various use cases for the VoiceMeeter products. The TheFranswah Studio has a lot of Voicemeeter vidoes. I found this particular one very helpful:

Upgrade from Banana to Potato
When I upgraded from Voicemeeter to Banana, I think I had to re-configure everything from scratch. Now I want to upgrade to Potato - is there a way to save and restore all the settings from Banana - mainly input/output channel assignments, ASIO settings, and such. It's not a huge amount of work, but...

Re: Upgraded Voicemeeter to Banana, now UMC inputs show in Red
Thanks! That helps a LOT! I had never really understood those channel assignments in the System Settings/Options, but now I do, and have mine configured properly. No more "Red" input devices!

Re: Upgraded Voicemeeter to Banana, now UMC inputs show in Red
Fixing my own problem here. Hopefully this will help someone else in the future. 1) I found that by going to the Windows properties for each sound device and un-checking "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device", I was able to use both the Output and Input devices simul...

Re: Upgraded Voicemeeter to Banana, now UMC inputs show in Red
More information: After messing around with things, I found that if I route the main Hardware Out to a different device, then the UMC Inputs work fine. There seems to be a problem with using both the UMC Inputs and Outputs at the same time. I had Voicemeeter configured that way for about the last ye...

Upgraded Voicemeeter to Banana, now UMC inputs show in Red
I've been using VoiceMeeter with my Behringer UMC404HD interface for about a year now, worked great, but I wanted the extra channel of Banana to support some additional devices. I uninstalled VoiceMeeter then installed Banana (with reboots in between and afterwards, of course). Everything works grea...

Re: Having to restart the audio engine regularly
I think I figured it out. I have a wireless ON/Off switch that turns off the lights and a number of other pieces of gear, and I usually turn it off at night. Well one of the things it turns off is my UMC interface! It can be USB powered or powered from an external power brick. Apparently having the ...

Re: Having to restart the audio engine regularly
Well, unfortunately, I'm still having the same problem. I left the PC on overnight (as I usually do), and had nothing running at all. Launched an audio app just now, no sound. Brought up Voicemeeter, and the "UMC ASIO Driver" text under "HARDWARE OUT" was red and blinking. What i...

Re: Compressor or VST effects with Voicemeeter
Ah, so Audibility only works on the two hardware input channels? Rats. I was looking for something that would compress the Virtual input. What I'm trying to do is compensate for the sometimes large volume levels of different speakers on Zoom/Skype/Teams calls. I often find myself continually riding ...

Great, thanks! I'll give it a try.
