1- Voicemeeter audio engine is anyway stopped if the output A1 device is no more working.
2- for the "not responding" aspect, we know a single case to make this happen: check you are not in this case: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=430&p=912

maybe the SEL button could help (ALT + SEL or something like that...) will think about...

there is different way to use a device, so without scrrenshot we cannot help on this because we have no idea of your configuration. the optimal way to use a Focusrite is usually to connect it through it's ASIO driver, as it is explained in this video tutorial (replace TASCAM device by Focusrite): ht...

PATCH INSERT is only for Virtual ASIO insert driver (whe you connect a DAW or VST Host on Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO insert driver).

yes, but i think the problem is not the memory stress test or real time capabilities. todays 99.99% of windows audio problems come from the audio driver installation procedure (merging audio driver together and completely breaking the audio stack) as we explained in the topic: https://forum.vb-audio...

the VB-CABLE is just a virtual cable to connect 2x applications together.
if you want to do more (mising / routing), you may try Voicemeeter.

0.07ms is very good... but this bug is expected to be corrected... however you should make the test on several hours (24h) to get a significant measure... we consider it's good up to 2.5 ms Anayway, if you still have strange problem with audio, we recommend to re-install out our audio virtual driver...

Voicemeeter with default parameters cannot generate more than 100 ms latency (usually it's around 30 to 50 ms).
your problem is surely pending on a device or application...
