Re: error but i felt its working

the VBDeviceChecker hasd been done to detect bad driver installation (mainly due to WIN10 update). this is made by detecting inconsistency in the different information we could gather in different audio device lists and registry database. As suggested, if you think it's working anyway, just ignore t...

Re: Multi Channel Recording using VAC's?

Mutlichannel recording is possible trhough different workflow: 1- The Voicemeeter Integrated Recorder allow to record a BUS in multichannel (up to 8 tracks). Re: [Potato insert bus] Problem with insert bus audio does not sound clean(has crackling after restart was fine before)

Our Virtual ASIO Drivers for virtual ASIO INSERT or Virtual I/O as well, are striclty synchronized to the mainstream with a single swap buffer latency. This process will work correct if this 2 conditions are respected: - the main stream is stable in time and not too fast: buffer must be above 256 sa...

Re: Crackling/old radio critter sound with World of Tanks only

you may try to set your first monitor in 1980x1200 to see if it makes a difference with audio.
Otherwise try both in standard full HD resolution (1920 x 1080).

(restart your computer after change to be sure about the memory usage)

Re: Crackling/old radio critter sound with World of Tanks only

last option is to increase the internal latenyc of the voicemeeter Virtual Input by running the related VBCABLE_ControlPanel app in administrator mode and try the 16k or 32k sample value... and reboot. if it changes nothing, the problem is surely due to a conflict between video driver and audio stac...

SHA-1 signatures will be deprecated by Microsoft

in 2021 the SHA-1 Code Signing algorithm will be replaced by the SHA-2 algorithm only. (Dual Code Signing process could not be possible anymore... ). Some old version of Windows 7 would need to be updated to support SHA-256 Certificates... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/announce/sha1d...

Re: Crackling/old radio critter sound with World of Tanks only

the general explanation is that some applications can take so much resources (CPU or RAM or BUS bandwidth ) that it can disturb audio streaming stability. in your particular case you may check the connection from your game to Voicemeeter. recommendation are: - Set Voicemeeter virtual input as defaul...
