Yeah, I don't know why Soundblaster is doing that. With my G5 and Acoustic Engine Pro Software I don't had this issues.

I only have the Focusrite scarlet 2i2 3rd, Soundblaster and internal Soundcard. Should I try Foxusrite as A1?

Yeah, that "fix" the issue .. for the monent. But it's not a fix for the rootcause.

is this feature "broken" since 1903? All my VB-Audio cables are called "speaker" and have that default icon. Even if I rename them and choose a new Icon, my changes staying after reboot.

Oh .. good to know it was a bit easier to find the right device with a präfix in some applications. But now I can stop searching what's going wrong. Thanks....

VB Audiodevicenames resetting after reboot
Hi, since Potatoe 3.0.0.6/.7 the names of the VB Audiodevices beeing resetted to defaultname after reboot. Other audiodevicenames stay changed. Allready did a "cleanreinstall" (deleting folders ans regkeys) but the issue still exists. Any idea how to fix it? Win10 1809 btw. Thanks Pascal

Thanks for the hint .. I was completely thinking wrong about B1
