Yeah, I've always stayed up-to-date with the latest Voicemeeter version, currently 2.0.6.2.
I'll see if I can open up a ticket with Microsoft.
I would not be surprised at all that they changed something that caused this because I had previously used Voicemeeter for a long time without issues.

Re: Voicemeeter and Statics, Stuttering, Crackling sound & Choppy audio
I've been experiencing pops/crackling when using VM Banana for a few years now with 2 completely different high-end PCs that were well-optimized (e.g. low DPC latency, rock-solid stable overclocks - p95 FMA AVX). Just to be clear, there is no issue when audio is output directly to the sound device (...

Re: Why does Potato Virtual Input need more buffering than Virtual Audio Cable?
The definition of "work" may vary, though! I'm OK with 30 milliseconds of latency. I'm OK with 100 milliseconds through the system. I'm not OK with 500 milliseconds of latency. Lip sync must be maintained, and a visual beep in a terminal window should match up reasonably to the sound hear...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana - Audio pops/clicks, system stutter after Win 10 v2004 update
Yeah, pretty unfortunate that MS doesn't address that. You'd think that MS could try to offer something like "configs / profiles" or at the very least general guides/instructions (for common settings or more) that can help tune the system for different modes of user applications (gaming, a...

Re: Voicemeeter does not work well with Realtek card/drivers causing system audio feedback as mic input
So THEN (lmao like good ol crazy Joker) I reinstalled Win 10 v1903 (my previous version) using Rufus (https://rufus.ie/) and repeated the whole PC setup process again for another 6 hours. Yeah, I only suggest a fresh install of Windows if most other options are exhausted or if some serious troubles...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana - Audio pops/clicks, system stutter after Win 10 v2004 update
You say there are flaws with my replies and logic while you repeatedly misquote me.... You clearly have no ability to grasp my logic or read my replies. Simple example and the only one I'll bother with: Me: Also, your execution times... You: Which driver execution time(s) Me: Same as you, the DPC. ...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana - Audio pops/clicks, system stutter after Win 10 v2004 update
Geez I just saw this: I have many other optimizations like disable C-states, disable EIST, disable dynamic tick, disable core parking, etc. and checked everything with v2004 but figured it's likely to be an actual Windows bug vs settings. Yeh no. You can't go complaining that an operating system is...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana - Audio pops/clicks, system stutter after Win 10 v2004 update
Jesus, there are so many flaws with your replies and logic... I'd rather not waste my time but here it goes: The DPC count seems to be increasing too rapidly on v2004. It's almost 14x the count after 1min than on v1909! As I said, at least on your PC, they are decreasing LESS compared to 1909, than ...

Re: Discord Crackling w/VB Out since moving to Windows 2004
I also had similar mic issues after the v2004 update. I tried several things and somehow got the mic to sound cleaner (maybe not perfect) but eventually just went back to v1909 due to performance/quality issues. I don't recall exactly what I did but it included the following: Toggle and/or disable &...

Re: Voicemeeter Banana - Audio pops/clicks, system stutter after Win 10 v2004 update
The DPC counts increasing significantly are normal. You should expect them since the driver is in use. It's not running on voodoo magic ;) Remember, LatencyMon is mostly intended for testing an IDLE system. Likewise, you should expect to see an increase in average int to process latency. The system...
