Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?

To answer your question directly: If you were using midi for a button on VoiceMeeter, would you expect it to process the value zero when you released your momentary button or would that cause VoiceMeeter to behave in a manner contrary to how you're used to midi devices working. I guess ultimately, b...

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?

Yep, most of them work that way (as a mute toggle, rather than hold-to-mute). Some devices will often support either a toggle like this, or a hold-to-mute (common in broadcast situations where someone might say a naughty word and you need to silence things briefly), or a hold-to talk (common for com...

Re: 5.1 never ending story

I wouldn't use the Stereo Repeat function here. I would just use normal mode. Stereo audio will play in stereo, surround will play in surround.

The manual https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/Voicem ... Manual.pdf on page 20-22 has all the info you need about which mode does what.

Re: MIDI Toggle of Buttons Broken?

My experience with hardware is that the switches are almost always momentary in hardware, and send a value reflecting their physical state (ie 7f when pressed, 0 at release, messages being sent on edge transition for interrupt-driven pins, or whenever the pin state is polled and has changed. I can r...

Re: 5.1 never ending story

I had a similar problem and ended up using a different solution. The forum search function is poor, so I will add a link to the other thread, so if someone stumbles upon this thread, they will be able to access both threads/solutions. https://forum.vb-audio.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1297&sid=9912891d...

Re: Which Macro command to use for launching desktop programs??

Ahh, good to hear. I mentioned that field name deliberately as I thought maybe that might be the issue, I'm really glad I did, now! :) BTW, that 'Initial State' field can still be useful - since that command is always run at startup to initialise the button, if you want to launch another app any tim...

Re: Which Macro command to use for launching desktop programs??

Hmm, this is working for me. Perhaps there's some issue with your parameters? I created one to test just now, I simply copied your command, pasted it into the 'Request for button ON' field in the macro button configuration, and replaced "%windir%\write.exe" with the path to my program, replaced "%TM...

Re: 5.1 never ending story

Yeah thats indeed surprising, I am glad I found that out once more reaching out to you guys, really appreciate it... Just one more little question: When I want to listen to music I noticed it will only output to my front speaker. Then I found the "Stereo Repeat" button and I am getting the music di...

Potato 64 bit cable installation procedure?

Hi, VB team! My question is in the last line if you are in a rush :) Some time ago, you added a 64 bit version of VoiceMeeter Potato. When I run the installer downloaded from the VB website, it does install this 64 bit version of VM, but by default it only seems to use the 32bit version. The 32 bit ...
