Voicemeeter Potato Crashes/Closes When opening games.

so my VM almost always crashes when i open a game or discord. it seems like if it uses audio VM will just crash. i can open it up and it will be fine after till i close the program or switch games. i have uninstalled and reinstalled and it fixed it for about a week. im not sure what info to give to help out.
