[Potato+Macro Buttons] Macro for reverb FX

Postby W01Fi3 » Tue Apr 16, 2019 1:15 am

Hi, I'm trying to make a macro button that toggles reverb/delay, however I am unable to find the code to toggle special effects, since the documentation, to my knowledge, has not been released. If I wanted to do this, what would I throw into the button?

for the moment the following new instructions are implemented:

Strip[i].Reverb 0 to 10 Send Level To Reverb
Strip[i].Delay 0 to 10 Send Level To Delay
Strip[i].Fx1 0 to 10 Send Level To External Fx1
Strip[i].Fx2 0 to 10 Send Level To External Fx2
Strip[i].PostReverb 0 (off) or 1 (on) Post Reverb button
Strip[i].PostDelay 0 (off) or 1 (on) Post Delay button
Strip[i].PostFx1 0 (off) or 1 (on) Post Fx1 button
Strip[i].PostFx2 0 (off) or 1 (on) Post Fx2 button

Bus[i].Sel 0 (off) or 1 (on) BUS SEL Button
Bus[i].ReturnReverb 0 to 10 Reverb return
Bus[i].ReturnDelay 0 to 10 Delay return
Bus[i].ReturnFx1 0 to 10 FX1 return
Bus[i].ReturnFx2 0 to 10 FX2 return

I'm not very familiar with creating macros but let's say I want this scenario

I want to add reverb to my microphone, and I want it to be heard in my headset (bus A2) and on Voicemeeter Output Aux (bus B2)
I want to have it as toggle, so I have to click the button a second time to disable it.

how do I set this up in Macros??

-- edit --
how does Post reverb work compared to Reverb?

Return to “Voicemeeter”
