Holding a key while playing a sound.

I am trying to play a sound through the "recorder.play=1" function. While doing this I want Voicemeeter to send "ALT", my push to talk key, for the duration of the audio, I was trying to come up with a way to do this but there is no "Pause"/"Wait" function in the macro language that I could find.

If you have any functions that already exist in the Remote API please point me at them.
