Hi
I have been using Virtual Audio Cable version 4.14 since i bought a Windows 8 pc,
and it has worked great.
I upgraded to Windows 8.1 - no problem.
I upgraded to Windows 10 - no problem.
I am currently using Windows 10 PRO version 1607 build 14393.1480
There is a newer Microsoft Windows 10 update/build available, and I have tried updating my pc with that version twice.
What happens is it has issues with Virtual Audio Cable and no sound, and the pc freezes up and I have to hard reset it.
My motherboard is a MSI Z87 gaming with a build in soundcard = Realtek High Definition Audio.
I have tried reinstalling my sound card driver after the update, just to see if that would change anything, but no -still freezes and unstability.
So I have rolled back to the old version.
From a security perspective this is not good, so I have to find some solution to the issue.
I hope you can help me fix this issue.
Thanks
Virtual Audio Cable

Re: Virtual Audio Cable
(I'm not sure you are talking about our product : www.vb-cable.com)
Anyway I will check it but re-installing VB-CABLE usually works.
(WIN10 update can re-install audio driver but without using our installation procedure, that can generate trouble).
The fact is that you must REBOOT after each step.
- DE-INSTALL VB-CABLE + REBOOT
- INSTALL VB-CABLE + REBOOT
