Hardware Input 1 = Mic Input freezed after a while.

Post by prettynice »

Like i said in the topic...Hardware Input 1, which is my microfon, is freezing after a while and i have to do a "Restart Audio Engine" to get it back to work.
This happens since 2 days, after 8 month with no problems.
Im on Windows 10.

Just for information: 2 days ago, i installed "ScpTool" to get a PS3 Controller to work with my PC through USB. This tool had to install some drivers. Other then that, i didnt change nothing.

is it a USB MIC ? what audio interface did you select for it ? WDM, KS or MME ?
did you change some system settings in the Voicemeeter System Settings Dialog box ? screenshot ?

It is a USB-Mic, yes. It's the AT2020USB+

Do you see the "2-" right before the name of the mic at Input 1. This is new.
Regular it says "AT2020USB+". Now it says "2-AT2020USB+". What happened?

Like i said before, i was good with these settings below for 8-9 Month, no Problems...
I need help.

it could mean you have plugged your device on another USB port, then the system has re-installed the driver for this USB port, then it adds a number on device name.

I think the problem is more on Windows USB Audio stuff... maybe you can reset the WDM buffer size to default = 512 sample.

Again. Mic stopped after ca. 30 minutes working with the new buffer settings.
Will try another USB Slot now...

This is horrible. No way to stream like that...
