Hello,
I try to route 8 input channels to my 4 speakers (2 active stereo speakers each with DAC and USB-input) in the following setting:
Frontspeaker left: FL + SW + FC
Frontspeaker right: RL + SW + FC
Rearspeaker left: RL + SL
Rearspeaker right: RR + SR
Maybe I am blind or stupid, but I am not able to see to do so by the provided BUS Modes. I am thankful for any hint.
Michael

i'm afraid i did not think to that setup, which a typical one to feed 4 speakers...
I guess your 4 output channel are on the same BUS, so you may use our 8x8 matrix gain app for this kind of specific routing...
download it here:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=394
run it with Voicemeeter.

Re: Downmix 8 ch to 4 ch
Thanks for your answer! Unfortunately the frontspeaker use the A1-BUS and the rearspeaker the A2-BUS. Each speaker pair (Yamaha NX-500, https://de.yamaha.com/de/products/audio ... index.html) has its own DAC connected to seperate USB-ports at the PC. I already tried the matrix gain app, but, as you say, it only works if I use just one BUS.
