Using headset into PC, and getting&sending audio to 3.5mm connected cell

Good evening,

Maybe an odd setup - maybe not - but I'm at a loss:

Goal:
PC runs a game and has an internet connection. Runs VB Banana. <--- 3.5mm audio cable ---> Cell phone on 4G

Cell phone runs Discord

Ideally:
I want to be able to hear PC sounds via headcheck *check
I want to be able to hear audio from cell on PC headset *check

What I can't figure out is how to get my headset mic audio to go to the cell phone, over Discord (as if it was a 3.5mm headset plugged right into the phone).

I'll post screenshots of my setup tonight when I get home, but thought I'd at least start this to see if it's immediately laughable. Thanks.

Note - I do notice with this as configured, I'm getting mic sounds in my headset - which I think? makes sense as I'm sending it to the phone, but am perhaps getting it back as well? Unsure.

I'll keep testing.

Just tried this: sending the headset mic to B1, then linking that to the A2 (phone) line.

I don't hear the same sounds as the other way but don't totally understand why.

Will test via Discord.
