I am using Voicemeeter and VBAN in a live streaming production environment. Specifically, I recently had a production with a commentary studio with 4 persons. Each of them had a microphone headset and was able to talk "on air" and "off air" (using Banana's macros to disable routing to live audio and enable routing to service audio - talking to director and producer).
To do that, I used 2 laptops (Banana has only 3 hardware I/O - situation will improve with Potato) and a couple of cheap USB external audio cards in addition to the internal ones of the laptops.
Question is: using an audio interface like Tascam US-4x4 or Behringer U-PHORIA UMC404HD will I be able to see each headset/microphone as separated hardware I/O in Potato? The idea is to have a less cluttered setup and to be able to use more professional equipment with XLR connectors when needed.
Thanks for your advice.

Re: Voicemeeter and audio interfaces
yes, you will be able to patch ASIO channel in Voicemeeter Physical Inputs and assign BUS channel to ASIO ouput channel
