I am desperately waiting for Potato documentation.
Voicemeeter/Potato Insert Virtual ASIO and internal FX send and return is easy to use for me, but I am too stupid to figure out how to use External FX Return (Patch).
I have spent hours adjusting routing and other settings, but I am still confused.
Sometimes I hear the external FX, but this mutes the regular inputs/outputs.
Probably it is quite simple to use it, but I feel like I've been beating my head against the wall.
Potato External FX Patch - how to use it?

Re: Potato External FX Patch - how to use it?
1- you must have selected an ASIO device as output A1 (ASIO device with a good number of I/O)
2- you have to set what ASIO channel will be used for SEND and RETURN external FX
this is in the system settings dialog box: External Fx Patch.

Oh my God!
I am really stupid (at least sometimes).
I think my "problem" was, that I always use one of the VAIO ASIO drivers in a DAW or other kind of VST hosting application in combination with Voicemeeter. So, this dominant configuration concept blocked me mentally.
I even considered to use Potato ASIO Insert "mixed" with Patch Composite.
I really messed it up with such strange configuration "experiments", funny, isn't it!? ROFL
Thanks
and
Joyeux noel !
